Acephate Pro 75 SP Insecticide, manufactured by Agrisel, is an effective dust insecticide that provides reliable contact and systemic control against imported fire ants in turf and non-crop areas.
It offers the best of both worlds since it kills insects on contact and moves systemically through plant tissue to stop pests feeding from within. Acephate Pro 75 SP acts quickly by disrupting the ants nervous system through both contact and ingestion. It works systemically and locally: once foraging ants come into contact with or consume the treated material, they carry it back to the colony, ultimately killing the queen and other ants for colony-wide elimination.
Acephate Pro 75 SP Insecticide is an easy-to-use insecticide that contains a high amount of acephate as its active ingredient, ensuring results within 2 days. This product gives you the edge, without overcomplicating your spray program due to its fast knockdown and outstanding performance.

How to Use
- Step 1: Determine where the ant mounds are in your property, but do not disturb them. Use 1 to 2 teaspoons of Acephate Pro 75 SP Insecticide per mound. Do not apply more than 4 lbs of product per acre to sod farms and 5/13 lbs of product per acre to golf courses.
- Step 2: Evenly sprinkle the powder directly over the top of the mound. Do not disturb the mound before or after application.
- Step 3: Do not treat mounds more than once per season.
Where to Use
Acephate Pro 75 SP Insecticide can be used on imported ant mounds in residential, commercial, and and recreational turf. It may also be used in non-crop areas such as field borders, fencerows, roadsides, ditchbanks, and borrow pits.
When to Use
For best results, apply the material in the early morning or late afternoon when the ants are most active.

Acephate Pro 75 SP Insecticide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not allow livestock to graze treated areas.
Do not feed treated grass to livestock.
Special Considerations
Applications made under prolonged hot and dry conditions may be ineffective due to the location of the ants deep within the nest.
