Tools Needed

26GT Fungicide can be applied with aircraft or mechanical ground equipment (groundboom, airblast, etc.) such as backpack sprayers, handheld pump sprayers, or spray rigs. Chemigation systems such as sprinkler irrigation system may also be used for application.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much 26GT Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). To treat greens and tees of golf courses and fairways and other turf areas, use 3-4 oz. of product in 0.5 to 10 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For all other site sites, use 4-8 oz. of product in 0.5 to 10 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Do not make more than 6 applications per year or exceed a total of 35 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. per year. To treat ornamental plants as a foliar spray, use 1.0 to 2.5 quarts of product in 100 gallons of water. To treat ornamentals as a drench application, use 13 fl. oz. (1 to 2 pints) of product in 100 gallons of water per square foot. To treat ornamentals as a dip, apply 1.0 to 2.0 quarts of product in 100 gallons of water.
  • Step 2: Fill your selected sprayer with half the amount of water, add measured amount of 26GT Fungicide, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the spray tank lid and shake until the solution has completely dissolved.
  • Step 3: Maintain a low spray pressure of the 26GT Fungicide mixed solution to the top and bottom of grass and ornamental leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff with ground equipment. When performing a drench application, dip the cuttings, corms, and bare root roses until the foliage is completely covered. Dip plants prior to storage, planting, and cold storage. Do not mow or irrigate treated turf until 24 hours have passed after application.

Where to Use

26GT Fungicide may be used on turf on golf courses, sod farms, and institutional areas where fine turf is grown. Field, landscape, and greenhouse ornamentals and conifer nurseries can also be treated.

This product cannot be applied to residential sites or spathiphyllum.
