Zenith 75 WSP Insecticide
Zenith 75 WSP Insecticide is a powerful insecticide, offering both foliar and systemic control of a wide range of pests in various landscapes, turf, fruit and nut trees, and interior plantscapes.
04/10/26
Zenith 75 WSP Insecticide, manufactured by Prokoz Inc., is an effective imidacloprid-based water-soluble packet insecticide that makes turf and ornamental pest management easy for commercial and residential applicators.
This insecticide works systemically, which means the active ingredient is absorbed by plant roots and translocated throughout the entire plant. Insects that feed on treated foliage or roots ingest the imidacloprid, resulting in quick and effective control. This systemic movement ensures longer-lasting control compared to contact-only products.
Zenith 75 WSP Insecticide is a broad-spectrum insecticide that targets over 100 turf and ornamental pests in various commercial and residential settings. One application can control pests for up to 12 weeks, making it highly efficient in both labor and product costs.
Tools Needed
A hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, spray rig, or injection equipment can be used.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Zenith 75 WSP Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For turf or sod farm applications, mix 1.6 oz. (1 packet) of Zenith 75 WSP Insecticide per 2 gallons of water per 8,250 to 11,000 sq. ft. For outdoor and indoor ornamentals, apply 1.6 oz (1 packet) of product per 300 gallons of water. Outdoor applications cannot exceed a total of 8.53 oz. of product per acre per year. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: To prepare the spray mixture, drop the required number of unopened clear water-soluble packets into the spray tank while filling with the required amount of water. Depending on the water temperature and the degree of agitation, the packets should be completely dissolved within a few minutes from the time they are added to the water. Cooler water temperatures increase the time needed for the inner packet to dissolve completely.
- Step 3: Application can be made by foliar application or soil applications; including soil injection, drenches, and broadcast sprays. For foliar sprays, be sure to spray the top and bottom of leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. A second application may be required 10 days later if pest activity continues.
Where to Use
Zenith 75 WSP Insecticide can be used for sod farm production and on turfgrass and ornamentals on: residential home lawns, business and office complexes, shopping complexes, multi-family residential complexes, golf courses, airports, cemeteries, parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields.
Not for use in commercial greenhouses, nurseries, or on grasses grown for seed, or on commercial fruit and nut trees.
When to Use
Apply early in the season before pest populations become established or at the first sign of pest activity to control existing infestations.
