XXpire WG Insecticide, manufactured by DOW/CORTEVA, is a effective water-dispersable granule insecticide that controls sap-feeding and chewing insects with its 2 active ingredients.
Features the active ingredient spinetoram 20% and sulfoxaflor 20%, which eliminates pests such as aphids, whiteflies, and scales.
XXpire WG Insecticide is a unique insecticide that features vast plant safety on 300 varieties of ornamentals, reducing potential injuries and flexible application.
Tools Needed
XXpire WG Insecticide can be used with a ground application equipment, backpack sprayer or aerial application equipment.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much XXpire WG Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For ornamentals, use 0.08 oz. of XXpire WG Insecticide per 3 gallons of water or 3.5 oz. of product per 100 gallons of water. Refer the label for specific rates.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add measured amount of XXpire WG Insecticide, then pour in the remaining half of water. Agitate the tank until well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of leaves until wet with XXpire WG Insecticide, but not to the point of runoff.
Where to Use
XXpire WG Insecticide can be used on ornamentals (herbaceous and woody) growing in greenhouses and nurseries.
Not for residential use.

Safety Information
XXpire WG Insecticide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not graze livestock in treated areas.

Adults, children, and pets should not contact treated surfaces until the spray has dried.
Special Consideration
XXpire WG Insecticide is highly toxic to bees exposed through contact during spraying and while spray droplets are still wet. Toxicity is reduced when spray droplets are dry. This product is toxic to bees exposed to treated foliage for up to 3 hours following application. Do not apply this pesticide to blooming, pollen-shedding, or nectar producing parts of plants if bees may forage on the plants during this time period.
