Wisdom TC Flowable Insecticide
Wisdom TC Flowable Insecticide is a specially formulated insecticide and termiticide that protects various buildings, lawns, and ornamentals from a broad spectrum of indoor and outdoor pests.
10/07/25
Wisdom TC Flowable Insecticide, manufactured by Amvac, is an effective suspended concentrate insecticide and termiticide that controls termites and other various structural, turf, and ornamental pests.
With its powerful active ingredient, bifenthrin 7.9%, it provides excellent control and elimination against pests such as ants, cockroaches, scorpions, bees, wasps, and more within 5 to 7 days. Its broad-spectrum efficiency makes it an ideal choice for homeowners, pest control operators, and business owners seeking comprehensive yet economic pest management solutions.
Wisdom TC Flowable Insecticide provides a fast knockdown of flying and crawling pests, quickly reducing populations and preventing infestations in and around residential, public, and commercial settings. As a non-staining formulation, it will not damage or stain any surface that water alone wouldn't harm, making it safe for various materials.
Tools Needed
You will need a hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or spray rig to make applications.
How to Use
- Step 1: To ensure optimum control, delay watering (irrigation) or mowing for 24 hours after application. Determine how much Wisdom TC Flowable Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment areas length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For low-volume lawn applications, use 0.18 to 1.00 fl. oz. of Wisdom TC Flowable Insecticide per 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. A broadcast treatment on the lawn will use 1.00 fl. oz. of product per 10 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For ornamental applications, apply 0.125 to 1.0 fl. oz. of product per 2.3 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. or 5.4 to 43.5 fl. oz. of product per 100 gallons of water. A outdoor perimeter treatment around structures will use the rate of 0.33 to 1.0 fl. oz. of product per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank halfway with water. Begin agitation and pour in the proper amount of product. Add the remaining half of water into the tank. Maintain agitation throughout this entire process until the solutions is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Adjust the sprayer nozzle to a coarse, low-pressure spray setting. Spray the top and bottom of plant leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Immediately irrigate treated lawns with 0.25 inches of water following application to control sub-surface pests. To establish a barrier treatment, spray 2-3 feet up the structure and 6-10 feet wide on the ground adjacent to it. Be sure to also spray the window and door frames, eaves, soffits, cracks, and crevices you see around the foundation. A second application, five to seven days after the first, may be necessary to achieve acceptable control.
Where to Use
Wisdom TC Flowable Insecticide can be used indoors and outdoors on residential, institutional, public, commercial, and industrial buildings, and lawns, ornamentals, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields.

Apply during calm weather before or after pest activity is noticed on days when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours after treatment.

Keith's Pro Tips | "If a wasp lands on you, remain calm and avoid brushing it off to avoid any potential stinging. When approaching any type of wasp nest, it would be best to wear protective coverings such as a bee suit and approach it late in the evening. Wasps are less active at night." |
