Wild Hog Scram, manufactured by Enviro Protection Industries, is a granular repellent and an all natural way to repel wild hogs from your property.

This efficient repellent works by altering the environment in 2 ways: surrounding soil becomes bad-smelling to the animals & food tastes bad and their digestive system is disrupted.

Wild Hog Scram is an all season use product so can be used year round for continued protection against hogs and their activities.

Tools Needed

To use Wild Hog Scram you will need wear gloves for protection. You can either spread Wild Hog granules by hand or use a hand or rotary spreader to spread the granules in the target area.

How to Use

Step 1: Identify and inspect areas where wild hogs have been active then figure out how much product you need by measuring the square footage (length x width) of the area you wish to protect. Wild Hog Scram is typically applied at a rate of 1 pound per 600 square feet. Based on your measurements, measure out the amount of product needed. For example, if you measured 2,000 square feet of treated area, you will need 3.3 pounds of Wild Hog Scram.

Step 2: Add the appropriate amount of Wild Hog Scram product to a rotary spreader using the lowest setting. Apply at a rate of 1 pound per 600 square feet, covering the area where wild hog activity has been observed. Continue application beyond the affected area for optimal coverage. If the damage is in garden/flower beds, hand sprinkle granules.

Step 3: After the initial application, apply a 2nd application 14 days later.  Retreat every 30 days as needed for continuous protection.

Where to Use

Use Wild Hog Scram outside in the yard where wild hog activity has been observed and where hog burrows are observed.

When To Use

Use Wild Hog Scram if you have seen or suspect wild hogs trespassing onto your property.

Safety Information

When applying Wild Hog Scram, always wear gloves to protect skin. Store away from food and water storage and out of reach of children and pets.  Keep children and pets off treated area until the ground has thoroughly dried, 2-4 hours depending on moisture levels.

Special Considerations

Heavy or extended periods of rain will lessen the effective time of the product which will require an additional application.

Wild Hog Scram Professional
Applied as directed and the Hogs came back the next night and tore up the same are and more area where I applied the repellant. I applied a second application with a heaver dose and they still came back, This stuff did not deter the hogs at all. I would not recommend this product to anyone!

Really Works
Bad problem here in SW Fla. with the wild hogs. I found this product and spread it around the first day it arrived and man, the hogs actually WALKED AROUND the area and proceeded to tear up the grass along the side of the road instead of tearing up my yard again! Finally, a product that really works. Happy Man here.

This product really works
I was doubting whether this would work. I live next to a wildlife preserve. I have had wild hogs plow up my yard for years. Best we could do was set traps. Last year I bought Scram. It really works!! I spread it on the perimeter between my property and the wild life preserve after hogs hit our property. That night no more hogs on my property. It lasted for 6+months. I applied it again about 2 months ago and no more hogs. Neighbors had hog damage we had none.

It works. We use it and recommend its use to residents in our master planned community. We'll never get rid of all of the hogs on the property, but it is important to keep them out of them resident's yards and the common areas. We trap hogs in areas where the hogs concentrate and relocate them to their permanent home.

Did not keep hogs away. Put it out multiple times, and hogs continued to root up the same area. Would not buy again

SO FAR SO GOOD!
Well - after dealing with the pigs rooting up parts of my yard, I had tried leaving the lights on, motion sensor lights, etc. My neighbors had it worse than me. What a mess! Since I have spread the Wild Hog Scram on my yard - NO PROBLEMS. I've spread it on twice now and so far so good. I've got neighbors coming over to see what I am using.

  1. Q:Is it safe to eat the meat if they’ve been in a treated area?
    12/10/23
A:I would think so - this stuff has a pepper type product in it,where they snort it up and are deterred from staying around. It works as a deter-rant, but they don’t ingest it.

  2. Q:What is the difference between Professional Wild Hog Scram and Wild Hog Scram?
    11/1/22
A:I'm not sure of the difference we've only ever bought the "professional" and it works for us so we stick with it.

  3. Q:What is the difference from Wild Hog Scram & Professional wild Hog Scram?
    11/1/22
A:I really don’t know. I just used the wild hog scram and it worked. Maybe the professional is higher strength.

  6. Q:Hogs have been rooting around my bee hives. Will Hog Scram affect the bees, cause them to vacate their hives and move on?
    10/9/21
A:It shouldn’t, it should be applied to the ground far enough away from hives before they ever get there. It’s all natural oils and the hogs smell it away 1st

  7. Q:Why does it say all the replies are inaccurate?

  8. Q:What are shipping costs on hog scram?
    8/7/21
A:When you place your order online, you will first see the price of the Hog Scram, then you will see info for shipping. For faster shipping, the price is higher, and for regular shipping the price is lower. It's easy. I highly recommend Wild Hog Scram. It keeps the hogs, snakes, armadillos and other critters away, but does not harm deer - Just exactly what we wanted.
