Weedone LV6 EC
11/04/25
Weedone LV6 EC Selective Herbicide, manufactured by Nufarm, is a highly effective herbicide designed to tackle a wide range of weed challenges across diverse agricultural and non-crop settings.
With its low volatile formulation, Weedone LV6 EC Selective Herbicide contains the active ingredient 2,4-D ester, which ensures efficient weed control and offers exceptional versatility, making it suitable for applications on small grains, corn, pasture/rangeland, non-crop areas, and roadsides.
Whether used for aerial or custom applications, Weedone LV6 EC Selective Herbicide consistently delivers reliable results and can be seamlessly integrated with liquid fertilizers, water, and oil for enhanced weed and brush management.
Tools Needed
Weedone LV6 EC Selective Herbicide can be applied using various methods, including aerial, backpack sprayer, pump sprayer, or spray rig applications.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Weedone LV6 EC Selective Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For spot treatments, you will apply between .20 to 3 ounces of product per 1,000 sq ft in 1 to 3 gallons of water. For large applications to acreage, you will use .5 to 5 pints of product per acre.
- Step 2: In a large container, add half of the required amount of water and then add the appropriate amount of Weedone LV6 EC Selective Herbicide to the large container. Fill the container the rest of the way with the remaining half of water. Mix well and then pour into the sprayer tank.
- Step 3: Apply Weedone LV6 EC Selective Herbicide over the treatment area. Refer to label for reapplication and harvesting intervals as this will vary.
Where to Use
Weedone LV6 EC Selective Herbicide is for selective control of many broadleaf weeds in cereal grains (wheat, barley, millet, oats, triticale and rye), corn, red potatoes, sorghum, soybean (preplant), fallow cropland, forests, grass pastures, rangeland, conservation reserve program acres, ornamental turf grass (including turfgrass grown for sod or seed), non-cropland.
When to Use
For best results, lower dosages will be satisfactory for young, succulent growth of sensitive weed species. For less sensitive species and under conditions where control is more difficult, the higher dosages will be needed. Apply this product during warm weather when weeds are young and actively growing.
