Alligare Water Conditioner Gold
Alligare Water Conditioner Gold is a specialized tank additive that improves the effectiveness of pesticides by optimizing the water quality and drift reduction during spraying.
Alligare Water Conditioner Gold, manufactured by Alligare, is a highly effective chelating agent, buffer, and deposition aid that greatly enhances pesticides being used for aquatic agricultural, foresty, non-cropland, and right-of-way uses.
This product stands out for its unique formulation and specific benefits that improve the performance of pesticides. Some pesticides are highly susceptible to high water pH levels and become less effective. Once mixed with a pesticide, Alligare Water Conditioner Gold will lower and stabilize the water pH to maintain chemical stability in water, maximizing spraying and weed control results.
Alligare Water Conditioner Gold is a widely compatible water-conditioning agent and deposition aid that magnifies the effectiveness of pesticides, potentially reducing the need for higher doses and repeated applications, leading to significant savings in cost. By ensuring chemicals in pesticides reach their full potential, this product will reduce wasted product material and impact on the environment.
Tools Needed
It can be applied with a variety of ground and aerial application equipment such as a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, and spray rig.
You will need to purchase a pesticide separately as this product cannot be used alone.
How to Use
- Step 1: Be sure to read your selected herbicide label to make sure it can be mixed with another product such as Alligare Water Conditioner Gold. Generally, use 1-3 quarts of Alligare Water Conditioner Gold per 100 gallons of spray solution for ground and aerial applications. For most uses, the recommended rate is 2 quarts per 100 gallons of spray solution.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank half full of water and start agitation. Add the desired rate of Alligare Water Conditioner Gold to water before adding pesticides. Add pesticides as directed by the label, while maintaining agitation.
- Step 3: Apply the pesticide mixed with this product as directed on that product label.
Where to Use
Alligare Water Conditioner Gold can be used with pesticides that are labeled for agricultural, foresty, non-cropland, and right-of-way uses.
It is also approved with pesticides labeled for aquatic uses.
When to Use
Use when the pesticide label recommends the use of ammonium sulfate (AMS) or an ammonium sulfate additive. Also, when you suspect hard water is present when mixing with herbicides containing glyphosates, 2,4-D amines, or garlon salts.
