Victor Fly Magnet, manufactured by Woodstream, is an innovative snap-on gallon-sized trap for luring and trapping large quantities of outdoor flying pests.
This easy-to-use product contains a practical, non-poisonous attractant that lures house flies, barn flies, and bottle flies into the trap, where they cannot escape and eventually drown.
Victor Fly Magnet comes fully assembled with little mess created during the application.
Tools Needed
No additional tools are needed since this product comes fully assembled.
How to Use
- Step 1: Open the fly trap and empty the contents into the trap.
- Step 2: Pull the string to lift the lid, and the bag will fall into place. Add warm water to the fill line until 1/4 full and swirl to mix. The bait will dissolve into the water.
- Step 3: Using the shallow holes, snap the lid into place.
- Step 4: Hang Victor Fly Magnet where flies are active.
- Step 5: As the trap fills with dead flies, add enough water to return liquid bait to fill the line. Keep water at fill lines at all times.
- Step 6: Replace bait when you notice a marked decrease in flies caught in the Victor Fly Magnet trap.
Where to Use
Victor Fly Magnet is intended for outdoor use, such as around the perimeter of yards, patios, and porches. You can hang it from trees or stakes.
This product is most effective when placed 24 inches or less from the ground.
When to Use
This product can be used as a preventative or curative treatment for flying pest infestations. To increase the product's success, apply it at least one hour before food is brought out during events.
Flies are dormant until temperatures reach 65 degrees Fahrenheit.
