Tools Needed

To apply Victor Easy Set Gopher Trap, you will need to use a spade shovel or tunneling tool to remove enough dirt to fit the traps. This product will also require a stake to hold the trap in place.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine main gopher tunnels by examining areas with high amount of activity, damage, or uprooted turf and soil.
• Step 2: With your shovel or tunnel tool, remove and expose the active mound or tunnel. Remove the required amount of dirt to cover and fit the Victor Easy Set Gopher Trap. For mounds, simply place the trap within. It is recommended to use two of the Victor Easy Set Gopher Trap positioned back-to-back.
• Step 3: Hold the Victor Easy Set Gopher Trap in one hand, and with the fingers of your other hand, lift up on the arm bar to an almost vertical position.
• Step 4: With thumb positioned behind the pinchers, press down on the upper frame until closed end of the arm bar is engaged under the lower frame.
• Step 5: With other hand, press down on open end of arm bar to hold trap set, and engage trigger pan over ends of arm bar.
• Step 6: Place Victor Easy Set Gopher Traps in the tunnel or mound opening. Traps must be level with the bottom of the mound or tunnel. Secure traps with wire or cord to a stake positioned outside of the entrance to prevent gophers from dragging traps away. Seal all cracks with loose soil to ensure light does not filter through.
• Step 7: After the Victor Easy Set Gopher Trap has fired, remove the gopher if desired.
