Vector Flex 20-20 ULV Insecticide 2.5 Gallon- Compare to Aqua Kontrol 20-20

Vector Flex 20-20, manufactured by Control Solutions, is a permethrin-based insecticide that is specifically designed to control mosquitoes, midges and flies.

The 20:20 stands for the active ingredient amounts contained in the product—20% permethrin and 20% piperonyl butoxide (PBO). Vector can easily be applied with hose sprayers, compressed air sprayers, ULV machines, or automatic mosquito misting systems. Use outdoors to ward off pesky mosquitoes from the area.

Tools needed

You will need a non-thermal ULV application equipment, ULV Cold Aerosol Generators, backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or other thermal fogging equipment.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Vector Flex 20-20 to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For backpack and handheld sprayer applications: To apply undiluted at 0.007 pounds of permethrin per acre adjust equipment to an output rate of 1.24 ounces per minute and walk at 4 mph. To apply 0.0035 pounds of permethrin per acre, dilute 1 part Vector-Flex 20:20 with 5 parts of diluent and apply at a rate of 3.8 ounces per minute and walk at 4 mph. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: Apply the product to the treatment area until it is evenly covered. Diluted or undiluted applications may be made onto foliage at the perimeter of areas such as recreational areas, parks or golf courses from which mosquitoes or flies are to be excluded. Applications may be directed into harborage areas or other resting areas where adult mosquitoes or flies may be found.

Where to Use

Vector-Flex 20:20 is meant only for outdoor use. It can be used for residential areas, industrial areas, commercial areas, urban areas, parks, campgrounds, woodlands, athletic fields, golf courses, playgrounds, recreational areas, overgrown waste areas, roadsides, corrals, feedlots, animal confinements/houses, swine lots, and zoos, and other areas.

Do not allow spray treatment to drift on pastureland, cropland, (other than crops listed) or water supplies. In treatment of corrals, feedlots, animal confinements/houses, swine lots, and zoos, cover any exposed drinking water, drinking fountains, and animal feed before application.
