Vector-Ban
Vector-Ban
Vector-Ban is a product of Control Solutions Inc., and formulated to control various types of insects. The active ingredient, permethrin provides up to 30 days of control to indoor and outdoor areas. Vector-Ban is ideal for use on ranches to prevent biting insects from causing harm to cattle and other livestock animals. It can also be used in residential and landscaped areas to control chinch bugs, aphids, sod webworms, and other plant destroying insects. Vector-Ban is also ideal for use in automatic mosquito misting systems as it provides a quick knockdown and long term control.
Tools Needed
To apply Vector-Ban a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, professional skid sprayer or automatic mosquito misting system is needed.
How to Use
- Step 1: For general purpose sprays made on home lawns begin by filling the spray tank with 1/2 gallon of water.
- Step 2: Shake the Vector-Ban concentrate, and then add up to 0.25 to 0.5 ounces to the spray tank, followed by another 1/2 gallon of water for a 1 gallon mixture. The concentrated mix will ultimately depend on the area being treated and the targeted pests being controlled.
- Step 3: Shake the spray tank to mix thoroughly, and make spray applications to outdoor areas specified on the label. Make applications as soon as targeted insects are seen.
