B&G VC-153 Valve Cable 18" (22045400)

VC-153 Valve Cable 18", manufactured by B&G, is specifically sold for use as a replacement part for B&G sprayers.

The valve cable is an important part of the sprayer as it helps to transport the fluid from the tank to the sprayer tip so it can be distributed and sprayer properly.

Valve cables experience wear and tear over time and should be replaced periodically to keep the sprayer performing at a high level.

Tools Needed

To use this part, you will need the appropriate B&G Sprayer to replace the part on and possibly a pair of pliers or a crescent wrench if the parts are tightly secured.

How to Use

• Step 1: Following the instructions in the repair manual, detach the valve and extension from the hose and undo the packing.
• Step 2: Remove the stainless steel cable by pulling it back slowly through the back end of the extension. The threaded end of thecable at the nozzle end is short and easily passes through the curve in the Extension. The end of the cable at the valve end is long and will not pass through the curve. Replace the cable if it is worn or damaged.
• Step 3: Re-assemble the Extension by inserting the short end of the cable into the back so that threads are exposed at the nozzle end.

Where to Use

The VC-153 Valve Cable 18" is meant to be used only for replacement on a B&G handpump sprayer such as the N124 and similar models. There are other models it can also fit. Make sure the extension is the right size for the cable.

When to Use

Replace the valve cable when it has been damaged or you are experiencing leaks or any other reduction in spray quality. How often this part is changed depends on how often you use the sprayer. If it is heavily used, the part wears and tears quicker. Typically at minimum we suggest changing it out annually.
