The B&G Sprayer Maintenance Kit is manufactured by B&G Equipment and are a set of cleaning instruments for the purpose of cleaning and maintaining B&G Primeline Sprayers so they remain in good condition and at peak performance. B&G Sprayers are durable and long-lasting but they do require regular cleanings to ensure that insecticide residue doesn't buildup inside the sprayer components. The kit itself contains a long-handled brush for cleaning the tank, a small brush for cleaning the nozzle and pump tube and cleaning solution.

The B&G Sprayer Maintenance Kit is a great tool to keep your B&G Sprayers clean and running like new. Use it in-between spray applications to clear away residues that may stay in your spray tank and line and wear on your sprayer components.

Tools Needed

To use the B&G Sprayer Maintenance Kit you will need no additional tools aside from the B&G Sprayer you wish to service and clean.

How to Use

• Step 1: Mix a small amount of cleaning concentrate and warm water in a container. Add enough of the concentrate to create a good soapy mixture. A half-gallon of this diluted solution should suffice for a sprayer.
• Step 2: Clean the inside of the tank by putting about a quarter of the soapy solution directly into the empty tank and rotate and shake so the solution covers the interior.
• Step 3: Use the long-handled nylon brush to clean the inside of the tank and scrub thoroughly, dipping the brush periodically in the solution in the tank. Once complete, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Step 4: Clean the outside and bottom of the Pump Tube using the smaller brush. Dip the brush in the remaining soapy solution and thoroughly scrub the outside of the tube, paying attention to the area by the check valve. When finished, rinse with fresh water.
• Step 5. Clean the valve extension and nozzle by removing the nozzle tip and soaking it in the soapy solution and then brush with the smaller brush. Do the same with the strainer and valve extension and scrub lightly then rinse with clean water.
• Step 6: Pour the cleaning solution in the tank, pressurize the sprayer with a few pumps and then spray the solution out from the nozzle to clean the interior valve and extension. Add fresh water in the tank and repeat the process until the valve is clean.
