B&G Gasket Repair Kit GD-124, manufactured by B&G Equipment, is specifically sold to repair B&G stainless steel sprayers that have Extenda Ban Valves. B&G Sprayers are durable, but their parts may wear and tear over time and need replacing.
This kit conveniently has all the common parts needed to keep your sprayer well-maintained and performing at a high level.
The following parts are included in this kit to spray you the need to purchase them all separately: Check Valve (BG-PV-266), Tank Gasket (BG-P-268), Plate Spreader (BG-NP-270), Plastic Plunger Cup (BG-NP-277), Lock Spring (BG-P-276), Hose Coupling Washer (BG-D-51-P), Viton Tip Gasket (BG-4190), Nylon Gasket (BG-NG-146), Valve Packing - 3 Included (BG-VP-151), Valve Spring (BG-VS-156), Soft Seat Gasket (BG-SP-159).
Tools Needed
To use the B&G Gasket Repair Kit GD-124, you will need the appropriate B&G Sprayer with extenda ban valve to replace the part on and possibly a pair of pliers or a crescent wrench to loosen or tightly secure the parts.
How to Use
- Step 1: Take the spray assembly apart. You can refer to the repair manual instructions for details on how to specifically do this.
- Step 2: After taking apart the assembly, remove the old parts and replace with the new replacement parts from the kit. (watch our how-to video for details).
- Step 3: Put your B&G Sprayer back together and test it out to ensure it is working properly.
Where to Use
The B&G Gasket Repair Kit GD-124 is meant to be used only for replacement on a B&G Sprayers with the Extenda Ban Valve feature.
When to Use
Use the B&G Gasket Repair Kit GD-124 when your B&G Sprayer has been damaged or you are experiencing a dip in spray pressure quality. How often this parts need changing depends on how often you use the sprayer.
If it is heavily used, the part wears and tears quicker. Typically at minimum, we suggest changing out all the parts contained in the kit on your sprayer annually.
Safety Information
B&G Gasket Repair Kit GD-124 is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product manual instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product.
Be sure to wear gloves when handling the B&G sprayer parts, as there may be residue from chemicals or buildup on the sprayer parts.
