PT Ultracide Pressurized Flea Insecticide
PT Ultracide Pressurized Flea Insecticide
Ultracide is a pyrethrin-based aerosol spray flea killer. It is made with 3 active ingredients to provide a quick knockdown and long-lasting residual effect. Ultracide Flea Killer dries fast and provides up to 7 months of flea control.
Ultracide Flea Killer is produced by BASF and uses multiple active ingredients to prevent and control flea infestations. Ultracide Flea Killer contains pyriproxyfen to interrupt the growth of young fleas which helps to break their lifecycle.
It contains pyrethrins and permethrins as a quick knockdown, and MGK-264 as a synergist to enhance the insecticide providing extra strength. It also contains Nylar Insect Growth Regulator to aid in preventing flea eggs from developing.
When combating fleas, Ultracide Flea Killer will provide quick results with a 7 month residual. It dries fast and can be used on various surface areas, including carpets.
Tools Needed
Tools are not needed for the use of Ultracide Flea Killer as it comes in a ready-to-use aerosol can.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Ultracide you need by calculating the square footage of the application site. To do this measure (in feet) and multiply the length x width of the area you wish to treat. A 20 ounce can of Ultracide can cover 2,625 square feet.
- Step 2: Shake the can well before spraying and treat infested areas approved by the label at the rate of up to 100 square feet within 10 seconds. Hold the can at arms length and approximately 36" away from the surface area and spray in a back and forth sweeping motion.
- Step 3: Let areas dry before re-entering and vacuum carpets again.
Where to Use
Ultracide Flea Killer is for indoor use only to control fleas. It can be applied to carpets, furniture, pet bedding, and various other fabrics in apartments, homes, hotels, kennels, motels, offices, schools, supermarkets, transportations equipment (buses, boats, ships, trains, trucks), warehouses, utlities, veterinary clinics, and other commerical and industrail buildings.
When to Use
Ultracide Flea Killer can be applied anytime a flea infestation is suspected. Because of the fast rate fleas reproduce, it is recommended to apply Ultracide as soon as possible. With the residual effects, Ultracide can also be applied as a preventative treatment to areas prone to fleas.
Safety Information
Ultracide Flea Killer is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment when applying Ultracide Flea Killer. Keep all people and pets away from the treated area(s) at the time of treatment and after treatment until dry and vapors have dispersed.

Q:The picture shows a can with 1 pound, 4 oz. But the order is for 14 ounces. Which is it?10/5/23A:One pound four ounces if the total weight of the product. Fourteen ounces is the gross weight of the insecticide inside. Incidentally, I find Solutions Pest and Lawn extremely reliable, with effective products. I'm just a guy without enough cats, according to my wife.

Q:how many sq ft will 1 can cover?12/7/19A:I find that one can effectively rids approximately 1500 sq ft, with about one third to spare, if applied judiciously. I order six cans, which lasts me about six months, with a bit to spare. It is very effective, and has had no deleterious effects on any of my animals. I also find it to be a terrific bargain, based upon its effectiveness, so that I don't have to keep ridding my house of fleas.

Q:does this product kill the flea eggs?6/1/17A:Ultracide will not kill the flea eggs, they have a protective encapsulation, but when they hatch the fleas will then be killed. This also has a IGR, which will stop reproduction as an added level of protection. Should control fleas for a season.
