Ultra Blazer Herbicide
Ultra Blazer Herbicide
Ultra Blazer Herbicide is a potent solution for combating a variety of weeds in agricultural settings.
Ultra Blazer Herbicide, manufactured by United Phosphorous, is a selective herbicide effectively controlling a broad spectrum of broadleaf weeds while being safe to use on many desirable grasses and crops.
Features acifluorfen, a member of the diphenyl ether chemical family. Acifluorfen disrupts the photosynthetic process in susceptible plants, leading to weed control within days of application.
Ultra Blazer Herbicide effectively manages weed infestations and maintain the health and productivity of your desired vegetation.
Tools Needed
Ultra Blazer Herbicide can be used with a spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Ultra Blazer Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). To treat peanuts and soybeans, use 1.0 pint of Ultra Blazer Herbicide per 10 gallons of water per acre. Refer the label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: Prepare the herbicide solution by mixing the appropriate amount of Ultra Blazer Herbicide with water according to the recommended dosage rates. Proper agitation during mixing is essential to ensure uniform dispersion of the product.
- Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of weed leaves with Ultra Blazer Herbicide until wet, but not to the point of runoff.
Where to Use
Ultra Blazer Herbicide can be used on weeds in peanuts, rice, soybeans, and strawberries.
When to Use
Apply Ultra Blazer Herbicide when weeds are present on days when rainfall is not expected to occur for the next 4 hours after application.
Safety Information
Ultra Blazer Herbicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Keep people and pets out of treated areas until 48 hours have passed after application.
Special Considerations
Do not apply Ultra Blazer Herbicide to crops that show injury (leaf phytotoxicity or plant stunting) produced by any other prior herbicide applications, because this injury may be enhanced or prolonged.
