TYVET PRO Essential Oil Insecticide

TYVET PRO Essential Oil Insecticide, manufactured by Solutions Pest & Lawn, is a green 25(b), eco-friendly insecticide solution for indoor and outdoor pest control. This is the first in a line of essential oil insecticides from Solutions Pest & Lawn.

This effective essential oil product contains a unique blend of ingredients, such as castor oil, lemongrass oil, and geraniol, known to deliver solid insecticidal and repellent properties. These oils and other ingredients work together to control, kill, and repel insects like mosquitoes, fleas, and more while leaving behind a pleasant scent. 

TYVET PRO Essential Oil Insecticide is a versatile and safer alternative to traditional chemical pesticides. It offers more broad-spectrum pest control while being safe in sensitive application areas like schools or hospitals. This is a great green insecticide that is sustainable and provides control with less impact on the environment and beneficial pests.

Tools Needed

This product may be applied using hand held, hose-end, backpack, or compressed air sprayers. It can also be used with a mister or blowers for mosquito control.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much TYVET PRO to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To find the square footage, measure the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For most general applications made indoors and outdoors, you will need to use 1.5 ounces of product every 1,000 sqaure feet. Refer to the label for more application rates. 
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add in the proper amount of product, and then fill your tank the rest of the way with water. Close the tank lid and shake until well-mixed.
• Step 3: Spray or fog directly to the treatment area until it is thoroughly applied, but not the point of runoff. 

Where to Use

TYVET PRO Essential Oil Insecticide can be applied to residential and non-residential landscapes, non-food areas in and around institutional, public, commercial, and industrial buildings, restaurants, drive-in theaters, parks, campgrounds, recreational areas, daycare facilities, playgrounds, nursing facilities, hospitals, schools, laboratories, kennels, zoos, dog parks, boat houses, boat docks, marinas, modes of transportation (boats, buses, trucks, trailers, storage containers, railcars, marine vessels, cargo vessels), lawns, turfgrass, golf courses, drains and sewers, ornamental plants, flowers, trees, shrubs, landscaped areas, mulched areas, fence lines, athletic fields/parks (including trees, shrubs, flowers, evergreens, foliage plants, and groundcovers) patios & outdoor seating, and non-food residential greenhouses. Also, use on surface perimeters, around foundations and walls, pest harborage and breeding areas, eaves, around windows and doors, loading docks, under carports/decks, and other places pests are observed.

Do not spray on edible or food-bearing plants/trees or food contact surfaces. 

When to Use

Apply when pests are first noticed and signs of their activity begin to occur. Apply on calm days when wind speeds are low.

Safety Information

TYVET PRO is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Allow the material to dry before allowing people and pets to reenter treated areas. 

Do not allow applications to contact people or pets.

Special Considerations

Phytotoxicity to treated plants may occur if this product is applied more than recommended. Not for aquatic use, do not apply directly to water. Avoid application to flowering/blooming plants where bees can be actively foraging.

Solutions may be stored for extended periods of time, not to exceed 1 month.
