Triad SFZ Select Herbicide
Triad SFZ Select Herbicide is a dependable post-emergent herbicide combining 2,4‑D, MCPA, dicamba, and sulfentrazone for fast-acting broadleaf weed control in warm-seasoned turf, cool-seasoned turf, and non-crop sites.
12/05/25
Triad SFZ Select Herbicide, manufactured by Prime Source, is a powerful post-emergent herbicide concentrate combining four active ingredients for fast, visible broadleaf weed control within 24 to 48 hours and long-lasting results in turfgrass and non-crop areas.
The addition of sulfentrazone in the ingredients, a PPO inhibitor, enhances the speed and depth of control by disrupting chlorophyll production and rupturing plant cell membranes, making it highly effective against even resilient species such as poison ivy, knotweed, and more. With only a 6‑hour rain‑fast requirement, Triad SFZ Select Herbicide delivers flexibility even in unpredictable climates.
Triad SFZ Select Herbicide is a fast, selective, and turf-safe broadleaf weed killer that controls over 200 species of weeds in as little as 2 days. Whether you're managing your backyard lawn or an entire athletic field, Triad SFZ Select Herbicide helps you deliver results that speak for themselves.

How to Use
- Step 1: Delay mowing two days before and until two days after the application of this product. Determine how much Triad SFZ Select Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For cool-seasoned turf, apply 1.2 to 1.5 fl. oz. of Triad SFZ Select Herbicide per 0.23 to 5.0 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For warm-seasoned turf, use 1.0 to 1.2 fl. oz. of product per 0.23 to 5.0 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. To make spot treatments, mix 1.5 fl. oz. of product per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. The maximum number of spot treatments is limited to two per year with a minimum of thirty days between applications. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the tank halfway full with water. Add the recommended amount of product and surfactants if you decide to use one. Top off with the remaining half of the water and agitate continuously.
- Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of weed leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. If needed, a second application can be done when 30 days have passed after the first treatment. Do not exceed two applications of this product annually.
