Tools Needed
To use Torque Fungicide you will need either a hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, or handheld pump sprayer.
How to Use
- Step1: Determine how much Torque Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To find this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). You will use this to figure out how much product you need to apply. Depending on the disease you are treating, Torque Fungicide should be mixed at a rate between 0.6 to 1.1 ounces of product per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft..
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer with half the required amount of water, then measure the correct amount of Torque Fungicide you will need. Add Torque Fungicide into your sprayer, and agitate the mixture until the product is fully dispersed, then add the remaining amount of water. Close and shake once more to ensure an even distribution of product. Once the solution is fully mixed, you can add additional products like marking dyes or surfactants.
- Step 3: Apply the Torque Fungicide solution to the target areas, ornamentals and crops, for preventative disease control. Depending on the disease, Torque should be watered into the crown and active root zone for best results. Reapplication may be required to control severe cases of disease development and should be done 21 days after initial treatment. Do not apply more than 6 applications per year or 3.6 ounces per 1,000 sq ft.
Where to Use
Torque Fungicide may be used on all golf turf applications of cool season and warm season grasses as well as for disease control in field, nursery and container ornamentals, and commercial and residential landscapes.
When to Use
Torque Fungicide can be used as both as a curative and preventative treatment and can be used before disease development. Use the higher rate when treating plants with a high potential for disease development. If necessary, reapply after 21 days.
Safety Information
Torque Fungicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
