Tools Needed
Apply Topsin 4.5FL Fungicide using suitable application equipment, such as a backpack sprayer, tractor-mounted sprayer, or airblast sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Topsin 4.5FL Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). General applications on stone fruit will use 10 fl. oz. of Topsin 4.5FL Fungicide per 100 gallons of water. Refer the label for specific rates.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Topsin 4.5FL Fungicide, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the sprayer tank lid and agitate until well-mixed.
- Step 3: Ensure thorough coverage of all plant surfaces.
Where to Use
Topsin 4.5FL Fungicide can be used for non-bearing tree fruit and tree nuts, and on nursery stock.
When to Use
Apply Topsin 4.5FL Fungicide before diseases are present. During treatment, avoid excessive drying of roots or exposure to temperatures greater than 90°F or less than 32°F.
