The TN-45 Trigger Nut is manufactured by B&G Equipment Company and is a replacement part specifically sold for B&G sprayers. Part of the valve trigger assembly on the B&G Ban-Drip Valve or the B&G Sub-Slab Injector. These parts experience wear and tear over time and should be replaced periodically. If your Ban-Drip Valve or Sub-Slab Injector is not spraying properly, replacing the trigger nut may restore your tool back to normal.

Tools Needed

To use the B&G Trigger Nut TN-45, you will need the appropriate B&G Sprayer with the Ban-Drip valve to replace the part on or the Sub-Slab injector too and possibly a pair of pliers or a crescent wrench if the parts are tightly secured.

How to Use

• Step 1: Detach the Ban-Drip Valve from from the hose. Alternatively, on the Sub Slab Injector, you would need to undo the valve trigger assembly.
• Step 2: On the Ban-Drip Valve, Use a wrench to remove the valve trigger, trigger screw and trigger nut. You can refer to the repair manual instructions for details on how to specifically do this. After taking the old Trigger Nut off, replace with the new B&G TN-45 Trigger Nut and tightly secure it. On the Sub-Slab injector, take off the old hex nut and replace with this trigger nut and beging to put the trigger assembly back together.
• Step 3: Put your Ban-Drip valve back together and connect it back to your sprayer hose then test it out to ensure it is working properly. For the Sub-Slab Injector, reassemble the SSI assembly and test out to see if the trigger works correctly.

Where to Use

The B&G TN-45 Trigger Nut is meant to be used as a replacement on B&G Sprayers with Ban-Drip Valves or can be used on the trigger assembly for the Sub-Slab Injector.

When to Use

Replace the B&G TN-45 Trigger Nut when either your Sub Slab Injector tool or B&G Ban Drip Valve is not spraying correctly when you pull the trigger. How often this part is changed depends on how often you use the sprayer. If it is heavily used, the part wears and tears quicker. Typically at minimum, we suggest changing it out annually.

Safety Information

Be sure to wear gloves when handling the B&G sprayer parts, as there may be residue from chemicals or buildup on the sprayer parts. Be sure to properly drain and clean the sprayer parts before performing maintenance. Keep small items like this nut out of reach of pets and children as they may swallow it.
