How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much The Andersons Contec DG Fertilizer 17-0-17 to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For low rate, use 2.94 lbs. of The Andersons Contec DG Fertilizer 17-0-17 per 1,000 sq. ft. For high rates, apply 5.88 lbs. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. For cool-seasoned turf, apply at the high rate during the growing season. Use the low rate during mid-summer, especially for non-greens usage in cool-seasoned turf. For bentgrass and Poa annua, use the low rate if temperatures are 85 degrees Fahrenheit or above to prevent stress or damage. For warm-seasoned turf, apply at the high rate during the growing season. Use the low rate during periods of summer stress.
• Step 2: Adjust the spreader settings then load the proper amount of product. 
• Step 3: Walk at a steady pace while applying, slightly overlapping passes to ensure complete coverage. Immediately after application, irrigate with 0.2 inches of water.
