TerraCyte PRO Algaecide/Fungicide

Tools Needed

It can be applied with a hand spreader, push spreader, drop spreader, rotary spreader, or by sprinkler irrigation systems.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much TerraCyte PRO Algaecide/Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). To treat lawns, golf course fairways, greens, and tees use at the rate of 6 pounds of TerraCyte PRO Algaecide/Fungicide per 1,000 square feet. For turf equipment and tools, apply 1/4 lb. of product per gallon of clean water. For artificial turf, apply 1/2 lb. of product per gallon of water. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: For spreaders, calibrate the spreader to the proper ratio then add in the correct amount of granules. For sprayer applications, fill it with half the amount of water then fill it with the proper amount of product. Add in the remaining half of the water and shake until well-mixed.
• Step 3: Apply directly to affected areas. Do not overlap. Lightly water-in or leave dry depending on the application area. Repeat applications when algae, moss, or slime molds reappear.

Where to Use

TerraCyte PRO Algaecide/Fungicide can be used on turf grass, turf equipment, tools, and in container-grown plants. 

When to Use

Apply early in the day when the area will receive full sun.

TerraCyte PRO Algaecide/Fungicide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Keep people and pets out of the treated area until the spray has dried.

Special Considerations

Do not apply within three days of metal-based fungicides or fertilizer applications.
