Termite Drill Bit 3/8" x 24" SDS+ is manufactured by Hawera and is a professional-quality rotary hammer drill bit to be used with SDS Plus Drills. The 24-inch drill allows you to drill very deep holes in concrete slab, so you can apply termiticide products into the hole. This drill bit is made of carbide making it tougher and more durable. This design easily gets through to concrete and makes more holes per bit.

To conduct a thorough termite control application, you will need to treat a perimeter completely, including the soil under concrete slab. This drill bit makes it easy and can drill 100 holes depending on the power of your drill.

Tools needed

To use Termite Drill Bit 3/8" x 24" SDS+ you need an SDS Plus power drill to drill into slab as well as the appropriate termiticide product for injecting into the drilled holes.

How To Use

  • Step 1: Attach the Termite Drill Bit 3/8" x 24" SDS+ to a SDS Plus power drill and drill into the concrete slab to access soil for injection.
  • Step 2: Inject the termiticide treatment into the areas where the holes have been drilled.

Where to Use

The Termite Drill Bit 3/8" x 24" SDS+ can be used to get deep penetration in the concrete slab to reach termites residing under the slab.

When to Use

Use Termite Drill Bit 3/8" x 24" SDS+ when you are carrying out a trench treatment for termite control and there is concrete slab that needs to be treated around the perimeter as well.

Safety Information

Wear personal protection equipment that protects hands, face, eyes, and mouth when applying the product. Read and follow all the label directions on liquid termiticides before applying.

Special Considerations

Drilling foundations for termite control requires an SDS or SDS plus Power drill and injection application equipment. It is recommended to have a trained professional drill into slab for termite treatments.
