Termidor Dry Refill
Termidor Dry Refill
Termidor Dry refills are manufactured by BASF as a refill for the Termidor Dry Applicator for treating termite infestation around homes and wooden structures.
Termidor Dry contains an ingredient call Microllose which is a purified microcrystalline cellulose matrix. It an extremely appetizing (more so than the wood itself) termite food source formulated with 0.5% fipronil, and it doesn't add moisture to the wood.
The product also contains .5% Fipronil which will deal a lethal blow to the termite colony via a transfer effect which termites come in contact with the bait.
Tools Needed
Termidor Dry Refill comes in convenient, compact, ready-to-use vials. To use Termite Dry Refills, you will need a Termite Dry Applicator to insert the Termidor refill tube into and apply.
How to Use
- Step 1: Take out the empty tube from Termidor Dry Applicator and replace with a new tube.
- Step 2: Apply Termidor Dry directly to wood galleries, shelter tubes or carton nests or anywhere else you suspect termites to be. Application rate will vary on the treatment site. For treating drywood and subterranean termites, apply 0.1 to 1 gram per injection point. For cartons and nests, apply 0.3 to 3 grams per injection point. For void applications, apply 0.2 to 2 grams per injection point. Injection points should be spaced every 24 inches.
- Step 3: Termites will feed or come in contact with the bait and share amongst other termites and begin dying. If termite activity remains after 30 days, make a second application. Do not apply more than 5 grams per 1000 square feet of total surface area of the void.
Where to Use
Termidor Dry should be used as gallery treatments inside structures for subterranean termites and dry wood termites. Focus treatment around trees, utility poles, fencing, decking, railroad trestles, piers, beams, and other structural or landscape timbers.
When to Use
Use Termidor Dry refills when your Termidor Dry Applicator has run out of product to treat for termite infestations. Use this as a supplement to termite treatments for additional control.
Safety Information
Termidor Dry Refills are safe to use when applied according to label directions. Please wear the proper PPE before applying the product.
