Temprid FX
Temprid FX
Temprid FX is manufactured by Bayer and is a revamped version of Temprid SC. Temprid FX is the same suspension concentrate as SC, the "FX" simply stands for flexibility. This suspended concentrate carries a broader label which allows for many application methods and techniques.
Temprid FX is labeled to eliminate ants, fleas, spiders, moths, wasps and over 50 other common pests. Aside from its quick knockdown, Temprid FX is also known for its long-lasting residual of up to 90 days indoors and 30 days outdoors. Use Temprid FX to protect your home and yard against pests during the seasons which they are most active.
Tools Needed
To use Temprid FX, you will need either a hose-end sprayer, a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig. For residential use, we recommend a handheld 1-gallon poly pump sprayer.
How to Use
Step 1: Determine how much Temprid FX you need by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, you will need to measure and multiply the area length times the width (length x width = square footage). Temprid FX can be mixed between 0.27 fl. oz. and 0.54 fl. oz. per gallon of water which will cover 1,000 sq. ft. of surface. You can find the exact rates on the product label. So for example, if the square footage of the area you wish to treat was 2,000 sq. ft., you would need between 0.54 to 1.08 oz. mixed with 2 gallons of water.
Step 2: Mix the required amount of chemical with water in your sprayer based on your measurements and calculations. Agitate the sprayer after closing the top until the product is well mixed.
Step 3: Apply the Temprid FX solution according to labeled directions in the areas where you are having pest infestations. Use a low-pressure fan-type nozzle to apply the dilution evenly indoors in cracks and crevices. Next, perform a barrier treatment outdoors around the perimeter of your home. Apply from the base of the foundation up 3 feet and out 3 feet to the ground.
Where To Use
Temprid FX can be used indoors or outdoors. Indoors it can be used around baseboards, cabinets, windows, doors, and in other crack and crevice areas. Outdoors it can be used as a broadcast spray on the lawn and vegetation or around your structure foundation, windows, doors, eaves, and plumbing/electrical penetrations.
When to Use
You will want to use Temprid FX when pests activity is high or you want to prevent infestations for general pest control. You will want to spray every 2 months for continued control of your target pest.
Safety Information
Temprid FX is safe to use around pets and children when applied according to label directions and when the product has been allowed sufficient time to dry completely. Be sure to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying.
Special Considerations
Temprid comes in an easy-to-use squeeze and measure bottle. While Temprid can be used indoors, it cannot be sprayed on bedding and linens to treat for bed bugs.
