Tegrol 3.6F Fungicide, manufactured by Luxembourg- Pamol, provides excellent control of diseases such as rust or powdery mildew within grasses grown for seed, the roots and leaves of garden beets, cucurbit vegetable group (squash, pumpkin, melon, etc), garlic, onion, shallot, leafy brassica group, pecan, wheat, and so on.

This liquid fungicide is most effective when diseases such as rust or powdery mildew first appear on the listed foliage and vegetables. The smallest application of Tegrol 3.6F Fungicide will prove to be most potent as results can generally be seen within 14 to 17 days after application.

As a DMI fungicide, Tregol 3.6F Fungicide will inhibit the enzymes needed for fungal growth and cease the activity of listed fungal diseases within a short time frame. Due to the strength of this product, Tregol 3.6 Fungicide does need to be mixed or alternated with other fungicides as resistance may occur.

Tools Needed

To apply Tegrol 3.6F Fungicide you will need either a backpack sprayer or a hand-pump sprayer or ground sprayer. You may also use aerial application equipment for large scale areas.

Do not allow this product to be applied through any type of irrigation system.

How to Use

Spraying Leafy Plant

  • Step 1: Determine how much Tegrol 3.6F Fungicide to use by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. If you are unsure, then measure the length and width of the area in feet and then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre 43,560 (square footage / 43,560 = acre). For grasses grown for seed, apply 4 to 8 oz. of Tregol 3.6F Fungicide per 20 gallons of water per acre for ground applications. Depending on the vegetable, the ground application rate will vary between 3 to 8 oz. of product per 20 gallons of water per acre. Refer to the label as rates, aerial applications, and restrictions will be associated with the vegetable and foliage. Applications after August 15 should be tank mixed with chlorothalonil for resistance management purposes.
  • Step 2: Fill the sprayer halfway with the required amount of water, add specified amount of Tregol 3.6F Fungicide, then pour in the remaining half of water into the tank. Thoroughly close the lid and agitate the solution until evenly mixed.
  • Step 3: Adjust the sprayer to a low-pressure and then direct the nozzle above and below the leaf of the foliage at a height no greater than 6 feet to avoid drift. Spray until the top and underside of the leaf is evenly coated, but not to the point of run-off. Allow 2 to 4 hours of drying time for Tegrol 3.6F Fungicide to absorb into the foliage tissues before rain or watering occurs.

This product may be applied at any point during the growing season, but must be within a certain time frame for days of harvest depending on the foliage and vegetable.
