Tools Needed

The Talpirid Mole Trap comes ready to use with no tools needed to set it up. However you should use a shovel or sodcutter to help you with placing the trap in an active mole runway.

How to Use

• Step 1: Locate active tunnels in the area where you have seen mole activity. Look for runways with fresh dirt pushed up and use a dowel or finger to make holes. Be careful to not crush holes. Mark these holes with flags or other marker to make them easy to spot.
• Step 2: The next day check for sealed holes. These indicate mole activity.
• Step 3: Prepare the Talpirid mole trap by making an 1 inch indention with your heel in the middle of the active tunnel. Place the mole trap down after using a sod cutter or shovel to set the trap more easily under ground.
• Step 4: Insert the trap into the slots that you made and step onto the yellow foot pedal until it clicks into the trigger position. This indicates that it is set.
• Step 5: When the mole is captured (indicated by a raised foot pedal) by the trap, dispose of the mole by compressing the pedal to release the mole into a bucket or other container that you can discard.

Talpirid Mole Trap is to be applied at the surface of active tunnels in lawns, parks, around homes, golf courses, ornamental gardens, nurseries, and other non-crop grassy areas.
