SureKill Roach Gel
SureKill Roach Gel
SureKill Roach Gel 4 X 40 G, manufactured by NeoGen, is formulated to adapt to various application sites and effectively combats roach infestations in any setting, all while maintaining a safe and inviting atmosphere.
SureKill Roach Gel features an innovative formula that harnesses the potency of the neonictinoid Imidacloprid, tailored specifically for combating roaches. This advanced gel ensures that roach populations are not just controlled, but effectively eliminated, offering swift and visible results. Due to the systemic dual mode action in Imidacloprid, these gel baits work through ingestion and food exchange, providing reduction and control weeks after being applied.
Equipped with a cutting-edge syringe applicator, SureKill Roach Gel allows you to apply the gel with remarkable precision. This means you can accurately target roach hotspots and pathways without any mess or wastage, maximizing the effectiveness of the treatment.
Tools Needed
Tools are not required for the use of SureKill Roach Gel as it comes ready-to-use. However, you will want to wear gloves for skin protection.
How to Use
- Step 1: Thoroughly clean and sanitize areas being treated using water to eliminate competing food sources before applying the bait. Clean up and remove all secondary food and water sources, like pet food or water bowls. Sweep and vacuum the floors, then wipe down surfaces with warm water to remove any grime. For best results, cockroaches must have no alternative food or water sources available. Household cleaners or detergents could have repellants and may deter roaches from consuming the bait.
- Step 2: Calculate the square footage of the area you want to treat. You can do this by measuring and multiplying the length and width together (length x width = square footage). This will determine the amount of SureKill Roach Gel you will need to cover the area. The amount of product you want to use is dependent on the species. To control German cockroaches, you will need to apply 3 drops, or approximately 0.0047 oz. per square yard. To control larger roaches like the American or oriental cockroaches, you will apply 5 drops, or approximately 0.0071 oz. per square yard.
- Step 3: Remove the plug from the reservoir and replace it with an applicator tip. Using the plunger, push the gel through the syringe as a rounded pea-size drop. Use SureKill Roach Gel as a spot or crack and crevice treatment indoors or outdoors to control cockroach activity. Apply near roach harborages or where else you have observed cockroach activity. Possible placements include under baseboards, under sinks, countertops, cabinets, and where pipes penetrate the wall. Baited index cards can be used to treat tight spaces like underneath appliances where cockroaches may harbor and allow for easy clean-up.
- Step 4: When finished, remove the applicator tip and replace the plug. Leave your bait placements and check back every 1 to 2 weeks to reapply as needed. You should expect to see a reduction in roach activity within 5 days.
Where to Use
SureKill Roach Gel can be used in and around residential, commercial, and industrial structures, including warehouses, motels, hotels, apartment buildings, schools, homes, office buildings, aircrafts, ships, and trains. This product may also be used in food and feed handling establishments, but you may not apply this product on surfaces where food or feed is handled or prepared.
Do not apply this product where insecticides have recently been sprayed, and apply only in areas that are not easily accessible to children and pets.
When to Use
SureKill Roach Gel can be used as often as needed when cockroaches or cockroach activity has been spotted. Since this product contains attractants, it is most effective to treat active infestations and should not be used for preventative control. Bait placements are effective until they are dry so it is recommended to check your placements every 2 weeks to replenish as needed.
Safety Information
SureKill Roach Gel is safe to use around pets and children when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling or applying this product.
Use only in areas not easily accessible to children and pets.
Special Considerations
Numerous smaller pea-sized bait placements spread out over a larger area will provide more opportunities for cockroaches to feed on the bait than fewer larger placements.
