Super Plugs, manufactured by Executive Pest Control Products, is a helpful tool when conducting deep termite treatments or treatments for carpenter ants, which involve drilling holes to inject treatment insecticides.
These Super Plugs come in a 250-count bag of 9/16-inch or 5/8-inch fittings to accommodate a different-sized drill girth.
Using Super Plugs, the pesticide is forced to remain under the concrete, allowing a more thorough treatment without the danger of liquid pesticides spilling into the structure or exposing the technician. Non-sealing plugs and even the existing sealing plugs will force up and out of the hole.
Tools Needed
No additional tools are needed. In some cases, you will need to use a hammer to fit the tools into the hole you wish to plug.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine if termites and carpenter bees have been eliminated from the sites that were drilled for liquid termiticides or other treatment control.
- Step 2: When the infestation is confirmed to be eliminated, insert one of the Super Plugs into each drilled hole and patch them over.
Where to Use
Use Super Plugs in those areas of a structure where holes were drilled to inject termiticide or another insecticide that targets wood-boring pests.
