Tools needed

To use the B&G Termite Rod Tip Kit, you will need either the Versatool or Versagun Valve Termite Tools. You will also need a power drill to drill into slab.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Following manual directions, attach the appropriate sized tip for the application to your Versatool or Versagun Sub-Slab Injector rod using either a 7/16" or 5/8" pipe. Tighten it using a wrench.
  • Step 2:Reassemble the Sub Slab Injector and add termiticide to the tool to prepare for the injection application by drilling a hole in the slab or suspended floor that needs treatment.
  • Step 3: Apply the termiticide to the void area with the help of the tip for a nice flow of liquid beneath a concrete slab.

Where to Use

The B&G Termite Rod Tip Kit is used in the B&G Sub Slab Injector termite tool--either the Versagun Valve or Versatool Valve. It is attached to the end of the termite rod to get deep penetration in voids under concrete slab or in soils around the outside perimeters of the building.

When to Use

Use this tool kit when you are conducting a trench treatment for termite control and there is a concrete slab that needs to be treated around the perimeter as well.
