Sunniland NitroGreen Lawn Fertilizer 16-0-8, manufactured by Sunniland, is a fast-acting fertilizer high in nitrogen, and composed of a complete micronutrient blend for a continuous feeding in established lawns, flower and vegetable gardens, and trees for up to 4 months.

To increase the amount of time that foliage is fed, 25% percent of the nitrogen is slow-release to promote extended feeding during the upcoming months. For a deeper coloration this product also contains 8% potassium. Since this product does not contain phosphorous there is minimal risk of over-application or stunting of treated plants.

Sunniland NitroGreen Lawn Fertilizer 16-0-8 is an easy to spread granule fertilizer on areas as large as 7,600 sq. ft., great for lawns, ornamentals, or shrubs needing a greener coloration and better aesthetic appearance.

To apply Sunniland NitroGreen Lawn Fertilizer 16-0-8, you will need to use a drop spreader or a rotary spreader like a push or broadcast spreader.

How to use

• Step 1: Determine how much Sunniland NitroGreen Lawn Fertilizer 16-0-8 to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). To find the size of the tree, you will measure the distance around the tree trunk. Measure distance in inches around the tree trunk at chest height. If there are multiple tree trunks, add their measurements together. For a general application on established lawns, apply 4.3 lbs. of Sunniland NitroGreen Lawn Fertilizer 16-0-8 per 1,000 sq. ft. For shrubs and ornamentals, use 1/2 lb. of product per 100 sq. ft. of planted landscape bed. For trees, apply 1/2 lb. of product for every 2 feet of tree height. For flower and vegetable gardens, use 2 lbs. of product per 100 sq. ft. of garden or flower bed. Flower and vegetable gardens may be retreated every 30 days at the rate of 1 lb. of product per 100 sq. ft. For specific application rates it would be best to refer to the label.
• Step 2: Set the spreader to the proper calibration (see label for proper setting). Once calibrated, load the measured amount of Sunniland NitroGreen Lawn Fertilizer 16-0-8 into the spreader.
• Step 3: Start at the edge of the treatment area then walk around the entire perimeter, but avoid applying Sunniland NitroGreen Lawn Fertilizer 16-0-8 to sidewalks, driveways, and other porous concrete surfaces. Once the entire perimeter around the treatment area has been done, you can then move in a north to south direction then an east to west direction for full coverage. To treat trees, spread the product on the grass around the tree. When treating flower and vegetable gardens, you will need to turn the soil before application. After broadcasting the product onto flower and vegetable gardens, rake or till into the soil, then water well. Any area treated with this product will need to be watered in thoroughly after application.

Where to Use

Sunniland NitroGreen Lawn Fertilizer 16-0-8 can be used for established warm-seasoned lawns (bahia, bermuda, centipede, St. Augustine, and zoysia), shrubs and ornamentals, trees, and flower and vegetable gardens.

Do not apply this product to the leaves and stems of plant material. Wash any granules that land on foliage well with water after application.

When to Use

Apply Sunniland NitroGreen Lawn Fertilizer 16-0-8 when foliage is not wet and well-established during the spring, summer, and fall season when temperatures are not above 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Do not apply if heavy rain is expected before and after application.

Special Considerations
