Stryker 54 Aerosol
Stryker 54 Aerosol is an aerosol contact insect spray built with a 360-degree valve and an injector tip for flushing insects from cracks and crevices. It provides a fast knockdown and kill and can also be used as a space spray.
02/03/26
Stryker 54 Aerosol, manufactured by Control Solutions, Inc., is a pressurized contact insect spray that quickly controls common insect pests.
It is formulated with Pyrethrins, a botanical insecticide, and PBO, a synergist, to provide fast knockdown and kill of flying and crawling pests. Each can is built with a 360-degree applicator valve and an injector tip for broad applications.
Because Stryker 54 Aerosol is made with botanical ingredients, it can be used in "green" or sensitive environments. It also offers broad-spectrum control of pests like bed bugs, cockroaches, and flies. This aerosol dissipates quickly and will not leave a residue.
With its included injector tip and fast-acting formula, Stryker 54 is great for flushing insects out of cracks and crevices and can even be used as a space spray to target flying insects.
Tools Needed
Each can come ready to use, so no application tools are necessary. However, be sure to wear proper personal protective equipment when making applications.
How to Use
- Step 1: The Stryker 54 Aerosol application rate will vary depending on the type of application and the size of the treatment area. So first, measure the area you intend to treat in either linear feet (for crack and crevice applications) or cubic feet (for space spraying). You can find cubic feet by measuring the area length, width, and height and multiplying them together.
- Step 2: Shake the can well, use the built-in injector tip for crack and crevice treatments, or fold it down for direct or space spraying.
For crack and crevice applications, insert the injector tip into any crack or void and apply the product for 1 second. For light infestations, move the injector tip along cracks, spraying at a rate of 3 feet per second. For heavy infestations, apply at a rate of 1 foot per second.
For direct spraying, hold the can about 18 to 24 inches from the surface and spray in short bursts to contact insects. Do not exceed 10 seconds of spray per room or 10 seconds per 100 square feet for commercial properties.
For space spraying, apply 1 to 3 seconds of spray per 1,000 cubic feet to treat flying pests. For crawling pests, apply 20 seconds of spray per 1,000 cubic feet. - Step 3: Vacate the area after treatment and keep all people and pets out of the treated areas until it is dry and the vapors have dispersed.
Where to Use
Stryker 54 Aerosol can be used indoors or outdoors in and around apartments, campgrounds, food storage areas, homes, hospitals, hotels, motels, nursing homes, resorts, restaurants, and other food handling establishments, schools, supermarkets, transportation equipment (buses, boats, ships, trains, trucks, and aircraft—cargo areas only), utilities, warehouses, and other commercial and industrial buildings.
When to Use
Use for quick control of listed insect pests. For outdoor applications, apply on calm, dry days when wind speeds are low to minimize drift. For indoor treatments, time applications for when the area is vacated or not currently used. After application, wait for any vapors to dissipate before allowing people or pets into the area. Use Stryker 54 when the can is above 60 degrees Fahrenheit or at room temperature.
Safety Information
Stryker 54 contact spray is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling or applying this product.
This product is flammable, so do not use it near open flames and store the can away from heat sources.
Do not allow adults, children, or pets to enter the treated area for at least 15 minutes until vapors, mists, and aerosols have dispersed and the treated area has been thoroughly ventilated.
Special Considerations
Stryker 54 is great for quick kills of listed insect pests, but it does not leave a residual, so it is not recommended for long-term control.
