Strobe Pro G Granular Fungicide
Strobe Pro G Granular Fungicide
Strobe Pro G Fungicide is a long-lasting, systemic granular fungicide used for preventing and curing fungus in a variety of turf areas. Strobe Pro G is formulated with 2 active ingredients, Azoxystrobin and Propiconazole, to provide broad spectrum, effective results.
Because Strobe Pro G is a systemic fungicide, it will help you get effective control of foliar, stem and root diseases, such as dollar spot, leaf spot, turf mold, and more. Strobe Pro G is a granular fungicide so it is easy to apply and does not require complicated mixing procedures. It can be applied easily with a granular spreader. It can even be applied in smaller rates so users can treat localized portions of a lawn or turf.
Strobe Pro G Fungicide is safe and approved for use in a variety of turf locations, including golf courses, lawns and landscapes, parks, and recreational areas.
Tools Needed
To use Strobe Pro G Fungicide, you will need to use either a handheld granular spreader, push broadcast or rotary spreader, or a push drop spreader. A bucket and scale may be necessary to measure the proper amount of product needed.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much product you will need by measuring your treatment area. Do this by measuring the length and width in feet, and then multiplying them together (length x width = square feet). Application rates may vary depending on the target disease. Applications will range from 2 to 5 lbs. of product per 1,000 sq. ft.
- Step 2: Measure the proper amount of product you will need for your targeted disease and treatment area, and pour it into your calibrated spreader's hopper For example, if you were treating brown patch at the highest labelled rate in a 1,500 square foot area, you would need 6 pounds of Strobe Pro G to treat the area (4 lbs. x 1.5 = 6 lbs.)
- Step 3: Apply Strobe Pro G over your turf area like fertilizer. Even spread the granules out so that you get good, uniform coverage. You can even make smaller spot treatments of a problem spot rather than treating the entire lawn. Water the treatment area after application with at least half an inch of water.
- Step 4: Follow up applications are typically necessary for turf disease control. However, you application intervals will vary depending on your targeted disease. Generally, you will conduct a follow up application 14 to 28 days after the initial application.
Where to Use
Strobe Pro G Fungicide can be used to control diseases on golf courses, lawns and landscape areas around residential, institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields.
When to Use
Strobe Pro G Fungicide is best used as a preventative treatment for turf disease. Applications of Strobe Pro G can be made at different points in the year depending on the turf disease being targeted. It is best to apply prior to disease development or when conditions are favorable for disease development. Apply on calm days when winds speeds are low to avoid accidental drift. Avoid applications when temperatures exceed 90 degrees F.
Safety Information
Strobe Pro G Fungicide is safe to use on a variety of turf grasses when applied according to label directions. Keep all people and pets away from the treated areas until dry. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment when applying.
Special Considerations
With repeated use of Strobe Pro G, turf diseases may become resistant to the product and total loss of control may happen over time. You will need to take the proper steps in managing resistance to this, such as rotating Strobe Pro G with other non-Group 11 or Group 3 fungicides.
