Strike Plus 50 WDG Fungicide

Strike Plus 50 WDG Fungicide, manufactured by OHP, is a unique combination of 2 systemic fungicides that prevent and cure various ornamental diseases in nurseries, garden centers, and greenhouses.

This water-dispersable granule fungicide is formulated with two systemic active ingredients that work together to control or prevent a wide spectrum of fungal diseases such as rust, black spot, and downy mildew. This systemic activity gives Strike Plus the ability to move within the plant after application, providing both protective and curative action against pathogens.

You can use a hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, or handheld pump sprayer. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Identify target fungal diseases on ornamental plants and decide whether the application is preventive or curative, then review the product label to confirm crop and site approval. For foliar applications in garden centers and nurseries, apply 3 to 9 oz. of Strike Plus 50 WDG Fungicide per 100 gallons of water. For greenhouses, use 1.2 to 2.4 oz. of product per 100 gallons of water. For winter use in greenhouses use the 1.2 oz rate and the 2.4 oz. rate for summer use. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.  
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until the solution is well-mixed. Do not let the spray mixture stand overnight in the spray tank.
• Step 3: Apply as a full-coverage spray to the point of drip and repeat at 14 to 28-day intervals until the threat of disease is over.

Where to Use

Strike Plus 50 WDG Fungicide can be used on ornamentals, including flowers, foliage plants, shrubs, shade trees, and non-bearing fruit trees grown in nurseries, garden centers, and greenhouses. 

Do not use in residential greenhouses.

When to Use

Apply when conditions are favorable for disease development.

Safety Information

Strike Plus 50 WDG Fungicide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Keep people and pets out of the treated area until the spray has dried.

Special Considerations

Use of spray additives is not required. Any spray additive should be evaluated prior to use. Do not use in conjunction with organosilicate-based products, or plant injury may occur.
