Stingray Wasp and Hornet Spray, manufactured by FMC Technologies, is a ready to use spray product that provides an instant knockdown as well as a residual protection against a wide variety of stinging insects.
Formulated with a high dielectric breakdown voltage of 47,300 volts and knockdown rate this product works to eliminate pests and their nests before stinging can occur.
Stingray Wasp and Hornet Spray contains a jet spray that reaches 20 feet away from nests and pests for fast and safe knockdown.
Tools Needed
Stingray Wasp and Hornet Spray is a ready to use product that does not require additional tools. You will still need to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, mask, long-sleeve shirt, long-sleeve pants, coveralls, Tyvek suit, closed-toes shoes with socks, and safety goggles.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine areas where wasps, hornets, Yellow Jackets, and bees are inhibiting and the location of their nests from a safe distance. Do not stand directly underneath nests during inspection or application. Remove protective cap from the top of Stingray Wasp and Hornet Spray.
- Step 2: Hold can upright and point spray opening toward nest with wind at your back. Spray until nest is thoroughly saturated to kill the entire nest population.
- Step 3: To treat areas under eaves, screens, window frames, doors, patios, cracks, holes, crevices, and wherever insects are noticed. Spray until the surface is just damp, but not to the point of runoff. Avoid excess application.
- Step 4: Wait until 24 hours have passed before reproaching or removing pest nests.
Where to Use
Stingray Wasp and Hornet Spray may be used both indoors (attics and other places where nests are built) and outdoors on wasp and hornet nests. You may spray under eaves, screens, window frames, doors, patios, cracks, crevices, holes, around points where insects enter such as outside plumbing, faucets, etc., and cracks and crevices in foundation as well as along sills and ledges.
When to Use
Use Stingray Wasp and Hornet Spray when wasps, hornets, Yellow Jackets, and bees are witnessed or nests have been seen on your property. Spray in early morning or late afternoon when insect activity is minimal and on days when rainfall is not predicted for at least 24 hours after application.

Stingray Wasp and Hornet Spray is safe to use around children or pets when applied according to the product label directions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling or applying this product.
Do not allow adults, children, or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried.
