It is a coverall suit that features elasticized parts at the waist, wrists and ankles to that it is secure around your body. Included with the suit are gloves, pith helmet, and a collapsible square veil that will rest on top of the helmet.

The veil is elasticized so that it fits snug and securely around the rim of the helmet to ensure that no pests will be able to get into the suit. It is a traditional pull-string veil that crosses the front of the chest and is tied in the back. This particular suit also has a secondary option of a standard self-supporting veil that can be attached to the suit by a double neck zipper.

Professional Bee Suit

If you have an infestation of bees and wasps to deal with, controlling them with insecticides isn't much fun if you don't have the proper protection in the form of a bee suit. Even if you are wanting to beekeep as a hobby, you will need a bee suit to make the hobby tolerable. When they realize that you are trying to eliminate them, bees and wasps will go into defense mode to protect their hive, and their stings can harm both themselves and you in the process. A professional bee suit is specially designed to offer a number of great benefits to keep you safe and sound from painful bee and wasp attacks.

The professional bee suit we carry here at Solutions Pest & Lawn are ideal for pest control professionals and homeowners who need to treat areas around their home which have been invaded by stinging insects and spiders. Whether you have discovered a hornets nest in the garage, wasps in the front yard or spiders in the attic, our Professional bee suit will protect you from the potential stings or bites from the pest insects.

Our Professional Bee Suit features a comfortable and durable cotton/poly bee suit with elastic wrist and leg openings, square zipper veil, ventilated helmet and gloves. The helmet netting zips to the suit, and the gloves cover all the way up the forearms, for complete and total protection.  The holes in the netting are too small for bees to enter.

Our Professional Bee suit also comes in multiple sizes so you can find a bee suit which is right for you!

Benefits of a Professional Bee Suit

The main benefit of a bee suit is that it offers you protection from painful bee and wasp stings. Professional bee suits should not fit tightly on your body but rather be of a loose fit. A loose fitted bee suit is best because it forms air pockets which prevent stingers from actually piercing your skin. While most bee keeping suits you may find on the internet are made from heavy materials may offer additional protection from the stinger itself, lightweight cotton/poly blends are considerably more comfortable and still do the job quite nicely. The loose fit offers some relief from overheating when you are outdoors as well. Bee suits should also have elastic at the wrists and ankles, which prevents bees from getting underneath the suit and gaining unimpeded access to your skin.

The light color of a professional bee suit is yet another important benefit because it keeps bees calm. Bees often associate dark colors with predators such as bears or skunks. If you try to interact with a hive while wearing dark colors, you're likely to receive an angry welcome from threatened bees or wasps By wearing a light colored bee keeping suit, however, bees are less likely to view you as an aggressor. In addition, should you get stung, you can easily see the stinger on the light colored fabric, allowing you to remove it and prevent the alarm pheromone that's released when a stinger detaches from calling other bees to the location.
