Tools Needed
To use Spotrete F Fungicide you will need either a hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, or handheld pump sprayer. To cover acres of treatment area, a spray rig may be needed.
How to Use
- Step1: Determine how much Spotrete F Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To find this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). You will use this to figure out how much product you need to apply. Depending on the disease you are treating, Spotrete F Fungicide should be mixed at a rate between 3.75 to 11 ounces of product per 1 gallon of water.
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer with half the required amount of water, then measure the correct amount of Spotrete F Fungicide you will need. Add product into your sprayer, and agitate the mixture until the product is fully dispersed, then add the remaining amount of water. Close and shake once more to ensure an even distribution of product. Once the solution is fully mixed, you can add additional products like marking dyes or surfactants.
- Step 3: Apply the Spotrete F Fungicide solution to the target areas as a fan-spray setting to ensure the foliage is evenly coated. Reapplication may be required to control severe cases of disease development and should be done within 14 days after initial treatment. Apply Spotrete F Fungicide every 4-6 weeks as needed. Do not apply more than four applications of Spotrete F Fungicide per year.
Where to Use
Spotrete F Fungicide can be used to protect nursery stock, shrubs, ornamentals, non-bearing orchards and vines such as grape vines from rabbit, deer and rodent depredation, and foliage from fungal disease. Non-bearing is defined as crops that will not bear fruit within one year of application.
When to Use
Spotrete F Fungicide is to be used for the prevention, control and suppression of foliar fungal diseases as well as an animal repellant. It can provide both curative and protective action of common turf diseases. For preventative applications: When conditions for disease occurrence are favorable and repeat at 14-day intervals until disease threat is past. For curative applications: When disease first appears and repeat at 14-day intervals as necessary.
