Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate

Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate, manufactured by Southern Agricultural Products, is a highly effective organic insecticide made from a relative of chrysanthemum to naturally remove insects like gnats and flies from your homes property.

This product contains pyrethrin 0.96% and piperonyl butoxide 9.60%, which works to stop the breakdown of pyrethrin that will then lead to the pest becoming paralyzed then death.

Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate is an easy to use product that can eliminate pests with minimal application.

Tools Needed

Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate may be applied with a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or handheld fogger.

Not for use in outdoor residential mosquito misting systems.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate to use by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To find this, measure the length and width of the treatment site in feet and multiply (length X width = square footage). An application as a surface spray will use a dilution 1 part concentrate and 9 parts water or oil. For a space spray, dilute at a rate of 1 part concentrate to 19 parts of water or oil. For a ULV application, dilute 1 part to 9 parts water or oil then apply the dilution rate from 1 to 10 oz. of product per 1,000 cubic feet of space. Refer to the label for specific application rates.
• Step 2: Fill your selected sprayer halfway with water, then add the measured amount of Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate, and fill the rest of the way with remaining amount of water. Agitate the sprayer until solution is well mixed.
• Step 3: Spray the application thoroughly until wet, but not the point of run-off. Retreat as listed on the product label.

Where to Use

Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate can be used on your homes vegetable garden, plants intended for aesthetic purposes or climatic modification and being grown in interior plantscapes, ornamental gardens or parks, or on golf courses or lawns and grounds.

You may also spot treat your mattress to the seams, edges and tufts of bed only. This continues to edges of carpeting, under carpet and rugs, floor, baseboards, on livestock, in poultry houses, crack and crevices on the inside of home, along and behind baseboards, moldings, window and door frames, in dairy farms or facilities, and dogs.

Refer to the label for specific plants this product can be used on.

DO NOT USE ON CATS.

When to Use

Use Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate at the beginning of pests activity. Apply on warm days when rainfall and wind is not forecasted for at least 24 hours after application.

Safety Information

Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate is safe to use around children or pets when used according to the product label instructions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing or applying this product.

Do not apply to dogs less than 12 weeks old. Consult with a veterinarian before using this product on medicated, debilitated, aged, pregnant, or nursing animals. For use on animals do not apply more than 1 time per day.

Special Considerations

Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult with a veterinarian immediately.
