Snake Scram Professional
Snake Scram Professional
Snake Scram Professional, manufactured by Epic Repellents, is the strongest all-natural deterrent effective in repelling most snakes, including many venomous species such as rattlesnakes and copperheads.
This product comes in granular form with no additional chemicals, only essential oils like Cedar, Clove, Cinnamon, and Garlic. These non-toxic oils are off-putting to snakes sense of smell and will cause them to quickly leave treated areas.
Snake Scram does not wash away quickly so you don't have to worry about light rainfall ruining an application. Snake Scram is also safe to apply around pets and small children.
Tools Needed
There are no tools needed to use Snake Scram Professional as you can use the container or an accompanying scooper to lightly distribute the content.
How to Use
- Step 1: Inspect and observe areas where you have seen snake activity or where snakes commonly may hang around. This can be underneath crawl spaces, inside garages, around the homes foundation, garages, barns, sheds, gardens or near pools. Determine how much Snake Scram you need by calculating the square footage of the area you wish to treat. To do this, measure (in feet) and multiply the area length times the width (length x width = square footage). Snake Scram should be applied at the rate of 1 lb for every 600 sq. ft. If you have measured a 1,500 sq. ft. area, you would need 2.5 lbs of Snake Scram.
- Step 2: Using the scoop provided, apply the Snake Scram to the entire area where snakes have been observed or are known to be active. Apply a 6-foot application of granules around the entire perimeter.
- Step 3: Reapply two weeks later and especially after heavy rainfall. To keep snakes from returning, apply 30 days after the initial application and reapply every day for continued control of snakes.
Where to Use
Snake Scram can be used anywhere you have noticed snake activity such as in yards, gardens, patios, woodpiles, around homes, garages, pools, flowerbeds, landscaping, around gardens and essentially anywhere snakes are not wanted. You can also apply around holes, crawl spaces, and voids to discourage snakes from harboring those areas. Do not apply to water sources like ponds, lakes, or streams.
When to Use
Snake Scram should be applied around peak times such as in the early spring and summer months. If heavy rainfall occurs, there may be an increase in snake activity. Apply around your property before snakes are expected to be active.
Safety Information
Snake Scram is completely safe to use around children and pets when applied according to label directions. Please wear the proper PPE before applying (gloves, protective eyewear, etc.)
Special Considerations
Heavy Rainfall can wash away Snake Scram but you can easily reapply once dry.

Q:Is this safe for frogs ?5/14/22A:As far as I know, it is safe for frogs and other critters... it is just a repellent. I live in Florida, next to water. We had allot of snakes. We have been consistently using Snake Scram for about 10 years and we only occasionally see one now... like one every few months. We never had allot of frogs, but do have some of those flat tree frogs. It doesn't seem to bother them. More seem to die from jumping into and drowning in the pool than as a result of the Snake Scram.

Q:Can this product be placed in the home?6/13/18A:Not sure why you would want to place this in your home and it is not labeled for this type of application. If you have a possible snake inside then you can use some of the Giant Glueboards or the GRB. https://www.solutionsstores.com/catchmaster-24-grb-giant-rat-glue-boards
