Signature XTRA Stressgard Fungicide, manufactured by Bayer, is a multi-use fungicide that promotes plant health and turf quality from severe weather conditions, resulting in enhanced disease resistance and protecting the plant from adverse effects of solar radiation.

This systemic fungicide improves plant health by increasing its recovery rate from oxidative stress and mechanical damage like scalping through its induced systemic resistance. As a result, treated turf are better able to withstand diseases, negative effects of low-light conditions, and supports earlier spring green-up.

Signature XTRA Stressgard Fungicide extends turf quality under various mild to severe environmental conditions to create a thicker, and deeper colored vegetation.

Tools Needed

Signature XTRA Stressgard Fungicide must be applied with ground application equipment like a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Signature XTRA Stressgard Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage of the treatment area and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). To prevent diseases, stress, and improve plant health, apply 4-6 oz. of Signature XTRA Stressgard Fungicide in 1 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. of turf. Depending on the disease, use 2-6 oz. of product in 1 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. of turf. Do not exceed 6 oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. or exceed 14 applications per year using the maximum single application rate.
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Signature XTRA Stressgard Fungicide, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the spray tank lid and shake until the solution is well-mixed.
• Step 3: Begin applications of Signature XTRA Stressgard Fungicide mixture to the top and bottom of turf blades until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Do not mow or irrigate treated area until sprays have completely dried.

Where to Use

Apply Signature XTRA Stressgard Fungicide on turf in golf courses, sod farms, sport fields, institutional, municipal, and commercial sites.

Do not apply to off-target sites including sidewalks, patios, driveways, pavers, or similar materials.

When to Use

Use Signature XTRA Stressgard Fungicide after damage from stress has occurred and when minor disease outbreak is first witnessed.

Safety Information

Signature XTRA Stressgard Fungicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Do not graze animals on treated turf.

Do not allow people or pets to enter treated areas until 24 hours have passed after application.

Special Considerations

Signature XTRA Stressgard Fungicide must be applied as a foliar spray only.
