The Shurflo 8000 Series Diaphragm Pump, manufactured by Shurflo, is an on-demand diaphragm pump for professional spray rigs, boats, RVs and more. It is quiet while handling heavy-duty jobs such as agricultural spraying and transfer applications.

Designed for long-lasting spraying and fluid transer to support applications within various environments, including agriculture. This unique structure contains spherically shaped valves and automatic demand switch, which allow for dependable high flow rates and maximum discharge up to 1.8 GPM (6.8 l/min) and pressures of 150 PSI.

The 8000 Series Diaphragm Pump is powerful by a (separate) 12 Volt power supply and is self priming for up to 8 feet, and can be mounted in any position. It additionally is designed in a chemical resistant material increasing its overall durability.

Tools Needed

The 8000 Series Diaphragm Pump would need to be installed onto a spraying rig to work. Follow the documentation and manual that comes with the Shurflo Pump for details on how to do this and what specific tools are needed.

How to Use

• Step 1: Following the instruction manual, remove existing pump and pump wiring from skid sprayer unit. Once removed, attach the 8000 Series Diaphragm Pump to your skid sprayer unit. To prevent electrical shock, disconnect power before imitating any work.
• Step 2: You will not need to prime the 8000 Series Diaphragm Pump since all 8000 series of pumps are self-priming. The 8000 Series Diaphragm Pump can be mounted in any position. For best results, mount in an area that is dry, and provides adequate ventilation. Mount the Shurflo 8000 Pump in the down position to avoid any possible leakage into the motor. Secure the rubber feet with 8" hardware.
• Step 3: Connect tubing that is at least 3/8" or 1/2" (10 or 13 mm) and at least 18 in. (46 cm) in length to 8000 Series Diaphragm Pump. Avoid using unncessarily long tubing to avoid sharp bends that may kink or clog over time. It is recommended to install a 50-mesh strainer to prevent foreign debris.
• Step 4: Test out the product to make sure it is running well and ensure it is ready to perform.
