How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Shredder 2,4-D LV6 Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To find the square footage, measure the treatment area's length and width in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For applications in corn (included field, sweet, and pop), apply 1/3 or 2/3 pint of Shredder 2,4-D LV6 Herbicide per 3 gallons of water per acre for post-emergent weed control. For ornamental turf, use 1-1/3 to 2-1/8 pints of product per 3 of water per acre. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and agitate.
- Step 3: Spray evenly over the treatment area, but not to the point of runoff. For spot treatments, be sure to spray the top and bottom of weed leaves.
