The Shim for Hypro Base Kit is a hardware part manufactured by Pentair/Hypro and is a supplementary part for pesticide spray rigs. A shim is used to elevate or raise the height of the Hypro Base Kit in order to mount the Hypro pump at the right height so it is properly aligned with the shaft height of the spraying rig engine or motor. Tools Needed

To use the Shim for Hypro Base Kit, you will need to install it onto a pesticide spraying rig. For this, you will need a Hypro Base Kit and the Hypro 6500 Series Rolley Pump and a socket wrench to mount the base and shims securely.

How to Use

• Step 1: On the Spraying Rig frame where you intend to place the Hypro Pump and Base Kit, install four (4) shims and tighten with a wrench to secure.
• Step 2: Following system installation instructions that come with the Hypro Roller Pump service manual, mount the base plate onto the spraying rig frame using the two bolts and washers to secure it into place.
• Step 3: Install the Hypro Roller Pump onto the base plate and it should now be aligned with the gear shaft of the engine.

The HShim for Hypro Base Kit is meant to be used on professional spraying rig frames to mount the Hypro Base Kit for the Hypro 6500 series roller pump.

When to Use

Use the Shim for Hypro Base Kit when you need to mount a Hypro 6500 Series Roller Pump onto a spraying rig and need to align it heightwise to the engine shaft.
