SeClear Aquatic Algaecide is developed by SePro Corporation and is a copper based algaecide and water quality treatment. SeClear's formula works by stopping photosynthesis so algal plants are not able to bloom. Seclear acts quickly with control taking place withing 3 to 7 days after application.

Simply pour the correct amount of SeClear directly into the water at several different locations and let the product do the rest. In the end your pond or water body will look clean and clear.

Tools Needed

To use SeClear you will need to apply by mixing the product into a handpump sprayer.

How to Use

• Step 1: Measure the size and depth of body of water to determine how much SeClear you need. Typically it will take 3 to 5 gallons per Acre foot.
• Step 2: Broadcast the SeClear mixture over the surface of the pond making sure to spray no more than 1/3rd of the total surface at a time.
• Step 3: The product should work to completely control the algae within 3 to 7 days.

Where to Use

SeClear can be used in all different types of sites: lakes, ponds, water fountains, and other water body types. It can also be used on drinking water.

When to Use

For best results, use SeClear before or at the beginning of spring months to prevent algae and some unwanted underwater plant life from growing. SeClear is most effective when applied in bright early mornings when sunlight is plenty and the weather is calm with an ideal water temperature of at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

Safety Information

SeClear is completely non-toxic and safe for humans and animals. It is the only EPA approved algaecide and water quality enhancer. When applied at the recommended rate, it will not stain or birds or fish. Once the dye is completely dispersed, irrigating, fishing, water sports, and other activities can continue.

Special Considerations

Spray no more than 1/3 of the total surface of the pond. Overuse of the product could cause oxygen depletion and result in harm to your fish.
