Renovate Plus, EarthWorks, is an easy to spread granular amendment that contains a high quality blend of carbon and mineral ingredients for a quick jump start of soil activity for open tight soils, speed turf recovery, and stimulate soil biology with low levels of nitrogen.

Contains a diverse set of natural and chemical ingredients such as kelp, compost, and humic acids to prevent de-mineralization of soil and allows plant roots to take up nutrients as needed to encourage quick recovery of dead spots, and provide a strong biological foundation to any soil by promoting soil flocculation and turf recovery.

Renovate Plus assures the success of sod jobs, improve aerification projects, help recover worn out dead spots and is an ideal planting amendment for deeper rooting and improved soil drainage in turf.

Tools Needed

To use Renovate Plus, you will need to use either a broadcast spreader, handheld spreader, or push spreader.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Renovate Plus to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Apply 10 to 25 lbs. of Renovate Plus per 1,000 sq. ft. of sod and seed establishment, aerification holes, and lawn care and turf maintenance. For sand construction amendments, use 800 lbs. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. For ornamental plantings, apply 1/2 to 1 cup of product per potted plant per 1 gallon container.
• Step 2: Calibrate your spreader to deliver the desired output of Renovate Plus. When its time to spread this product, load the proper amount of product into the spreader.
• Step 3: Evenly distribute the Renovate Plus over the soil surface or aerification holes. When treating sod and seed establishments spread the product directly to the soil surface and scarify into the top inch or two of soil. To treat sand root zone construction, you will need to work the product into into the top 6 to 8 inches of sand. For aerification holes you will need to lightly the granules in after application.

Where to Use

Renovate Plus can be applied to the soil surface within sod and seed establishments, new sand constructions sites, golf course greens, sports field, lawns, and ornamental plantings.

When to Use

Apply Renovate Plus to recover from dead spots in turf or to open compacted soil, speed turf recovery, and stimulate an active microbial generated nitrogen cycle in hard to grow areas.

Safety Information

Renovate Plus is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying this product.

Do not allow people or pets to enter treated areas until 24 hours have passed after application.

Special Considerations

Renovate Plus replaces multiple aerification products to simply new construction projects or difficult to grow turf areas. We do recommend keeping up with regular pest control as well to help reduce any bare spots and stress on turf as well.
