Reliant Systemic Fungicide

Reliant Systemic Fungicide, manufactured by Quest Products, is an effective systemic fungicide that provides flexible, effective control of diseases caused by Phytophthora, Pythium, downy mildew, and more across turf, ornamentals, vegetables, fruit and nut trees, and bedding plants.

It is a potassium phosphite-based fungicide that delivers true systemic activity it’s absorbed into the plant and transported throughout the xylem. Unlike many fungicides that act as surface protectants, Reliant is designed to support the plant’s natural defenses while actively inhibiting fungal pathogens.

Tools Needed

A chemigation system, backpack sprayer, or spray rig will be needed. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Reliant Systemic Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For turf, apply 5 to 10 fl. oz. of Reliant Systemic Fungicide per 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until the product is well-mixed. 
• Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of the leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Do not irrigate or mow treated areas until the spray has dried completely. 

Where to Use

Reliant Systemic Fungicide can be used for apples, crab apples, loquats, pears, quince, asparagus, avocados, berries, brassicas, cereal grains, citrus-mature trees, coconuts, coffee, okra, papaya, persimmon, cotton, cucurbits, fruiting vegetables, garlic, leeks, onions, shallots, grapes, herbs, spices, hops, leafy vegetables, legumes, mangos, nongrass animal feed, peanuts, pineapples, potatoes, root vegetables, tuber vegetables, stone fruit, strawberries, tree nuts, conifers (including Christmas trees), commercial nurseries, forests, plantations, golf course, landscape, parks, grass grown for seed production, and nursery and bedding plants. 

Ornamentals in golf courses, greenhouses, interiorscapes, landscapes, nurseries and park may be treated. 

Turfgrasses in/on commercial landscapes, commercial production sites, golf courses, parks, and sod farms can be treated.

When to Use

While this product does have early curative properties, it works best as a preventative.

Do not apply if the temperature is above 95 degrees Fahrenheit. 

Safety Information

Reliant Systemic Fungicide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until the spray has dried. 

Special Considerations

Due to Reliant acidic nature, do not use acidifying-type compatibility agents.
