Quanta Systemic PGR & Fungicide

Quanta Systemic PGR & Fungicide, manufactured by Helena Chemicals, is a well-balanced systemic plant growth regulator and fungicide that helps manage plant growth while protecting against harmful diseases on ornamentals, bedding plants, turf, and conifers in commercial settings.

It is a unique dual-purpose product that combines systemic plant growth regulation with systemic fungicide activity, allowing turf managers to control growth, improve plant efficiency, and protect against disease—all in one application. The result is turf that grows smarter, not harder, with improved density, better color, stronger roots, and enhanced stress tolerance. Tools Needed

A handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig can be used.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Quanta Systemic PGR & Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, them multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For turf applications, use 1.5 to 3.0 fl. oz. of Quanta Systemic PGR & Fungicide per 1 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet. Depending on the disease, apply 0.75 to 3 pints of product per 100 gallons of water for ornamentals grown in commercial landscapes, commercial nurseries, golf courses, parks, and greenhouses. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until mixed. 
• Step 3: Apply the spray until you have thoroughly wet all foliage for foliar applications. Do not irrigate or mow treated areas until the spray has completely dried.

Where to Use

Quanta Systemic PGR & Fungicide can be used on bedding plants and ornamentals grown in commercial landscapes, commercial nurseries, golf courses, parks, and greenhouses. Turf grasses on golf courses, parks, commercial landscapes, commercial turf production, and sod farms may be treated. It may be used on conifers in commercial nurseries, plantations, and forests (including Christmas trees). 

When to Use

Applications should occur before disease development.

Safety Information

Quanta Systemic PGR & Fungicide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Keep people and pets out of the treated area until 4 hours have passed after application.

Special Considerations

Quanta is compatible with most products used in agriculture. However, individual crop sensitivity to these mixtures may vary. Mixtures of Quanta with some foliar fertilizers and copper products may not be compatible or may cause phytotoxicity to some plants.
