This product was recommended to our company as a water soluable pre emergent. However, nowhere do I see it described as such and after attempting to use it, our backpack sprayer gets clogged up. Is T/I in fact water soluable? If so, how should it be mixed when using a backpack sprayer?
Charmaine M on Sep 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This is not a water soluble product, it is a granule that is applied and then watered in after application. If you want something that can be mixed with water and then applied you will want to look at Prodiamine, https://www.solutionsstores.com/prodiamine-65-wdg-barricade-herbicide
What setting do I use on a Scotts spreader.
Joe on May 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 2.3 lbs per 1,000 square feet, you usually have to know the brand of the spreader to get accurate dial settings.

If you have the serial number you can log into the Scotts spreader and tell you exact settings.
